edupression on medical prescription
edupression can be prescribed to you by a suitably qualified doctor. Since 1 July 2026, edupression® has been eligible for reimbursement under compulsory health insurance (OKP) in Switzerland, subject to the applicable conditions, when prescribed by a doctor. The applicable limitations set out in the MiGeL are particularly relevant.
Make an appointment with a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy – or with a doctor with an interdisciplinary specialisation in psychosomatic and psychosocial medicine (SAPPM). edupression is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You can find suitable physicians in the FMH physician directory and the SAPPM physician list.
Discuss edupression with your doctor and ask whether the digital therapy is suitable for you.
Your doctor can send the prescription directly to MediService. Alternatively, you can send the prescription to MediService yourself. MediService will handle the administrative procedures and settle the costs with your health insurance provider, and you will receive your activation code for the 90-day treatment period.
Once you have received your activation code, you can activate edupression and start your digital therapy.
