Prescription for Insured Persons

The first prescription for edupression is generally covered by mandatory health insurance (OKP) is basic coverage. This prescription does not affect your practice’s medication budget and is free of copayments for your patients.

Insured persons do not have to pay any copayments for this prescription.

Please include the following information on the prescription:

  • MiGel item number 40.01.01.00.1
  • Pharmacode: 1192679

You can either forward the prescription directly to our partner, MediService AG (contact@mediservice.ch), or you can hand over the prescription to your patient, who must then forward the prescription to MediService AG themselves.

Note: MediService AG handles the entire billing process with the insurance companies and sends patients their personal activation code for 3 months.

Prolongation beyond the first three months is no longer covered under mandatory health insurance (OKP); in this case, the private patient must clarify coverage with their private insurance provider or purchase edupression as a self-paying patient.

Prescription for patients with private health insurance

The conditions for cost coverage for private patients may differ between the various insurance companies. We therefore recommend that patients check with their insurance company before purchasing edupression.

As a rule, insured persons require a private prescription or written proof of diagnosis from you.
