edupression – your digital psychotherapy

edupression is a digital health application (‘DiGA’), also known as an “app on prescription”, which teaches you step by step how to manage your depression. Therapy with edupression consists of knowledge content, psychotherapeutic sessions and a mood chart to check your therapy progress.

You can use edupression as a mobile app on your smartphone/tablet. Anywhere and at any time. edupression also works via the internet browser on your PC.

edupression has been permanently included in the Directory of Digital Health Applications (‘DiGA’) by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (‘BfArM’). This means that the effectiveness of edupression has been proven in a clinical study and you can obtain a prescription for the application free of charge.

edupression for depression

You can use edupression if you are currently experiencing a mild to moderate depressive episode and have not had a manic episode in your medical history. In this case, we speak of unipolar depression.

To differentiate: In the case of bipolar depression, manic phases occur alongside depressive episodes as part of bipolar disorder. During such phases, those affected are often overly energetic, hardly need any sleep and tend to overestimate their own abilities.

Under What is depression? you can find out more and assess the severity of your depression in the self-test.
